Sharon is a professional Dog Groomer with over 33 years of professional dog grooming experience. Sharon was a former veterinary technician. She has over 15 years of show ring experience, show grooming, and specializes in show cuts. She's licensed, insured and works with all breeds including difficult dogs. Her success at getting dogs to enjoy their dog grooming session is partially due to her method of slowly and patiently introducing puppies and difficult dogs to the dog grooming process in a non-stressful manner. Sharon received formal dog grooming training from the Connecticut School of Dog Grooming in Hamden , New Haven Connecticut
All dog grooming services includes a bath, high-end specialized shampoo, nail trimming with hand grinding to take off the sharp edge, ear cleaning and ear plucking of the inner canal hair, which if left alone, can cause infections, mainly yeast infection in the inner ear, anal gland expression, fluff drying by hand, and of course, a haircut of your choice or as required.
I try very hard to work with my pet clients and their owners. I try to create a great rapport with them. It makes all the difference in my relationship with both(client and pet) in order for everyone to feel comfortable and know I truly care, and that your pet's comfort and well being is my main concern.
I am very honest with my clients. For example, if a dog is too matted and it's going to cause him or her pain, I will not do it. I don't want the pet to hate getting groomed and associate it with pain.

Sharon, the owner is very personable and gets to know you and your dog on a personal bases, this is not a shop where your dog is on a conveyor belt and is rushed through the process. They start with a bath using high end show products according to your dogs skin condition, then they are hand dried as to not get overheated with any cage dryers, if they have to use a cage dryer (which is very rare but sometimes the coats is very thick and needs a bit more help) the heat is turned off so it's just normal air on the dog. They cut the nails, grind them so they aren't sharp, clean the ears, clean the anal glands and then they get to rest in the cage for a bit. Then they get groomed. They are never rushed through the process and if you ever want to watch your pet get groomed Sharon has an open door policy, you are always welcome in the shop.
